I began working with leather when I was 8 years old.  My grandfather, a legend

among miners in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, gave me my first knife and axe.  From

that time on, I have been working and customizing leather products

In 1968, I created the ORIGINAL Quick Draw knife sheath for a Buck 110.  From family

to friends to hunters and anglers, this sheath has become a staple.  The knife is drawn

and opened with only one hand.

I have since designed and crafted sheaths for both custom and factory made knives and I

only work with Herman Oak leather, tanned in the U.S.A.

and the finest dyes and accessories.
